Greetings,

On behalf of our students, staff, and families, welcome to East Primary!  Our school is a kindergarten through fourth grade facility housing approximately 425 students located in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, and is part of the Kiski Area School District.  Kiski Area encompasses nearly 102 square miles in northern Westmoreland County and was established in 1958. 

Our school was originally constructed in 1917 and we will celebrate our 105th birthday in 2022.  The building has served the Vandergrift community in many ways over this length of time and has been a high school, junior high, and most recently as a K-6 elementary.  Extensive renovations were completed in 2014 allowing us to continue serving the Vandergrift and Parks Township communities as a primary school.
